Description
This cake took 2nd place in the North Carolina 2018 Strawberry Dessert Contest at the state farmer’s market! Two thick layers of unbelievably light vanilla sponge cake divided by a layer of mascarpone cheese with suspended macerated strawberries. This cake is frosted with lightly sweetened whipped cream and finished with fresh strawberry roses on top.
